Company history
The history of today’s Terrán Tetőcserép Gyártó Kft. can be traced back almost 100 years, to 1920, when Kálmán Mészáros started to produce concrete-based tiles in Negyed, now part of Slovakia.
Company group
Our company, Terrán Tetőcserép Gyártó Kft., is present in neighbouring countries as well as in the domestic market. In addition to the two plants in Hungary, our group of companies now serves customers in 7 other countries besides Hungary.
Environment
Thanks to their natural colours and raw materials, Terrán roof tiles blend harmoniously into the environment, thus and only thus playing a major role in shaping the environment, but only in an aesthetic sense.
Technology
Today, the technology used in our three domestic concrete roof tile factories is among the most advanced. Carefully selected raw materials are used in a computer-controlled mixer to produce the earth-moist concrete mass. The constant composition of the recipe is one of the basic requirements to achieve high product quality. Our technology at our Kunszentmiklós plant is based on a completely closed principle, so that the waste materials and waste water generated are also recycled to meet the highest environmental standards.
