Terran Ltd. is committed to protecting your personal data and places a high priority on respecting your right to informational self-determination. Terran Ltd. handles personal data confidentially and takes all necessary security, technical and organizational measures to guarantee the security of personal data. Terran Ltd.. handles your personal data in accordance with the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR) and other applicable legal provisions.
We recommend that you read this Notice carefully to ensure that you are aware of all the facts and information related to the processing of personal data. The provision of personal data is basically voluntary, however, it may happen that we will mark certain data as mandatory or necessary (*) as this data is necessary for us to provide you with the requested service. If you decide not to provide us with this data, we may not be able to provide you with certain services.

This Notice applies to the processing of personal data of users who visit the terranroof.com website and use any services there, as well as purchasers of Terran Ltd. products (hereinafter referred to as “You”).
4. For what purposes and how do we process your personal data?
4.1 Contact
Purpose of data processing: If you fill out the contact form on the terranroof.com website to contact us about our warranties, execution, products, orders, roofing system accessories or any other information request, we will only process the personal data you provide there for the purpose of answering these inquiries.
Legal basis for data processing: Your consent based on appropriate information.
Scope of personal data processed: The personal data you provide.
Data retention period: 90 days after answering the inquiry.
Data transfer (recipients): The personal data you provide on the form may also be accessed by Y-collective Ltd. (address: 7633 Pécs, Kőrösi Csoma Sándor utca 1. C. ép), which operates the technical operation of the website, as a data processor.
4.2 Order fulfillment
Purpose of data processing: Our Webshop is only accessible to our contractual partners. However, the placement of your orders for Terran products takes place in all cases through our Webshop in accordance with our General Terms and Conditions (“GTC”), with the cooperation of our partner (“Partner”) who handles your order.
We will only process the personal data provided by the Partner in connection with your order for the purpose of fulfilling your order and order tracking. We will send you an order confirmation by e-mail to the e-mail address you provided, and we will inform you about the order status by phone on the phone number you provided.
Legal basis for data processing: The legitimate interest of Terran Ltd. and the Partner.
Legitimate interests of Terran Ltd. and the Partner: The contractual fulfillment of your order.
The scope of the personal data processed: personal data provided by the Partner in the Webshop: delivery address, name of the recipient, contact name, telephone number, fax number, email address for order tracking and the order ID generated by us.
Duration of processing: 5 years after the order has been fulfilled. If you request a Terran warranty letter, 5 years after the expiry of the warranty.
Data transfer (recipients): the personal data you provide in the Webshop are also processed by the following companies as data processors:
- Y-collective Ltd. (address: 7621 Pécs, Kazinczy u 2.)
and our delivery subcontractor (Terran Ltd. usually uses the carriers listed in the following link to deliver its orders)
Joint data processing. In the case of joint processing purposes, both controllers are responsible for the lawfulness of the processing. If you need further information about the joint processing agreement, please contact us using any of the contact details indicated in point 2 of the Notice.
You always have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. For more information, please see section 7.6.
4.3 Issuing a guarantee letter and handling warranty complaints
Purpose of data processing: If you purchase a Terran product in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions (“GTC”), you are entitled to a 50-year warranty provided by Terran Ltd. We process your personal data to issue the warranty letter and to carry out any subsequent warranty repairs.
Legal basis for data processing: The processing of your personal data is necessary for the performance of the contract between you and Terran Ltd.
Scope of personal data processed: The personal data you provide, such as billing and contact information.
Data retention period: 5 years after the expiration of the warranty period specified in the warranty letter.
4.4 Newsletter (direct marketing)
Terran Ltd. sends direct marketing messages by newsletter to those who have expressly consented to this. Consent can be given in several ways, for example, by subscribing to certain of our websites, contracting processes or personal registration.
You may withdraw your consent to receive our newsletter at any time. You can do this by clicking on the link at the bottom of each newsletter.
The purpose of data processing is to send e-mail newsletters containing commercial advertising to interested parties, to inform them about current information and offers.
Legal basis for processing: your informed consent.
The scope of personal data processed: personal data provided by you, date and time of subscription, IP address, data on user interactions (e.g. opening of mailings).
Duration of processing: newsletters will be sent to you until you unsubscribe from our mailing list.
For sending email newsletters, Terran Ltd. may use MailChimp, a service operated by The Rocket Science Group, LLC (address: 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE Suite 5000 Atlanta, GA 30308 USA).
We may transfer your personal information to The Rocket Science Group outside the European Economic Area, in the United States of America. To provide adequate safeguards to protect your personal data, our data processor is a member of the Privacy Shield program. More information is available at this link.
5. Do we perform automated decision-making or profiling?
Terran Ltd. performs profiling of your personal data through the means described in the Cookie Notice. To learn more about the purpose and methods of profiling, please read our Cookie Notice.

7. What rights do you have?
Under Articles 15 to 20 of the GDPR, you have the right to obtain, in relation to your personal data processed by Terran Ltd.
a) access to your personal data;
b) request the rectification of personal data;
c) request the erasure of personal data;
d) to request the restriction of the processing of personal data;
(e) object to the processing of your personal data where the processing is based on a legitimate interest of Terran Ltd or a third party or for the purposes of direct marketing (see point 4.4 above);
f) receive the personal data and transfer them to another controller, provided that the legal preconditions for this are met (right to data portability, see point 7.7 below);
(g) where the processing of personal data is based on his or her consent, to withdraw his or her consent at any time.
7.1 How can you exercise your rights?
You can send your request to exercise the above rights to the contact details indicated in point 2 or, in the case of joint processing (purchases), to the Partner who is connected to you (for more information on this, please refer to the information on data processing provided by the Partner). Terran Ltd or the Partner will inform you of the action taken on your request without undue delay, but normally within 1 month of receipt of the request. If Terran Ltd. or the Partner does not take action without undue delay, but at the latest within 1 month of receipt of the request, it shall provide information on the reasons for the failure to act.
If you do not agree with the response or action taken by Terran Ltd. or the Partner, you have the right of appeal indicated in point 8.
7.2 Right of access
You have the right to receive feedback from Terran Ltd as to whether your personal data are being processed and, if such processing is ongoing, you have the right to access the personal data and to be informed of the circumstances surrounding their processing.
7.3 Correction
You have the right to obtain from Terran Ltd., upon your request, the rectification of inaccurate personal data without undue delay and the completion of incomplete personal data.
7.4 Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”)
You have the right to have your personal data erased by Terran Ltd. without undue delay at your request if one of the following grounds applies:
a) the personal data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed;
b) if the consent on the basis of which the processing was carried out is withdrawn and there is no other legal basis for the processing;
(c) you object to the processing where there is a legitimate interest and there is no overriding legitimate ground for the processing or we process your data for direct marketing purposes and you object to the processing of your personal data;
(d) where Terran Ltd has unlawfully processed your personal data;
(e) if the personal data must be erased by law.
Terran Ltd. will not delete personal data where permitted by applicable law, such as where the processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
7.5 Right to restriction of processing
We are obliged to restrict the use of your personal data in certain cases at your request. In such cases, we may use the data only for the limited purposes specified by law.
7.6 Right to object
You have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of your personal data based on the legitimate interests of Terran Ltd. In such a case, Terran Ltd. may no longer process the personal data unless you can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
7.7 Right to data portability
Provided that it does not infringe the rights and freedoms of others, you have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format and to have those data transmitted directly by Terran Ltd to another controller, if
(a) the processing is based on your consent or is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party or is necessary to take steps at your request prior to entering into that contract; and
(b) the processing is automated, that is, the processing of personal data is carried out by means of an information technology system and not on paper.
8. What redress do you have?

9. What are some of the terms used in the Guide and what are the key principles?
9.1 Key concepts
“processing” means any operation or set of operations which is performed on personal data or on sets of personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure, transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction;
“data processor” means a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or any other body which processes personal data on behalf of the controller (in this case Terran Ltd.);

9.2 Data protection principles applicable to the processing of data by Terran Ltd.
Terran Ltd. as data controller is responsible for compliance with the following:
- processing personal data lawfully and fairly and in a transparent manner for the data subject (“lawfulness, fairness and transparency”);
- It collects personal data only for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes and does not process them in a way incompatible with those purposes (“purpose limitation”);
- the personal data processed are adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary for the purposes for which they are processed (“data minimisation”);
- the personal data are accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date and Terran Ltd will take all reasonable steps to ensure that personal data which are inaccurate for the purposes for which they are processed are erased or rectified without undue delay (“accuracy”);
- store the personal data in a form which permits identification of data subjects for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data are processed (“limited storage”);
- process personal data in such a way as to ensure adequate security of personal data, including protection against unauthorised or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction or damage (‘integrity and confidentiality’), by implementing appropriate technical or organisational measures.

The scope of the Notice covers our contractual partners (“Partners”) who visit the terranroof.com website and use a service there, in particular the Webshop, registration for events, collection of points (“Partners”), as well as the private contacts, senior officials or other employees of our partners (hereinafter : “You”).
4. For what purposes and how do we manage your personal data?
4.1 Webshop registration and collection of points
The purpose of data management: After the conclusion of the contract, we send a user name to Contracted Partners, with which they can enter and place orders in our Webshop after entering a password in accordance with our General Terms and Conditions (“T&C”).
You can enter the Partner’s points collection code in connection with entering the Webshop and placing orders. After that, you can view the points and the orders placed on the site pontgyujto.terranteto.hu.
Legal basis for data management: Fulfillment of the contract between Terran Ltd. and the Partner.
The range of personal data handled: the data you provided during registration, username and password, and points collection code, if provided.
Duration of data management: 5 years after the termination of the Agreement between the Partner and Terran Ltd.

4.2 Registration for Terran Ltd’s events
The purpose of data management: If you wish to participate in events organized by Terran Ltd., you can do so on the site jelentkezes.terranteto.hu. In order to organize the event or training (room reservation, meal insurance, etc.), it is necessary for Terran Ltd. to manage certain personal data. In addition, Terran Ltd. can only send you useful information about the event to the e-mail address provided.
If you expressly consent to this, we may send you information about similar events from time to time after the event.
Legal basis for data management: Your consent.
Scope of personal data processed: The personal data provided by you (e.g. contact details, possible preferences, e.g. food intolerance).
Duration of data management: 90 days after the organization of the event.
Data transmission: Your personal data will only be transmitted to our subcontractors participating in the organization of the event to the extent necessary, such as the contractor organizing the accommodation, the catering, and the subcontractor entrusted with the organization of any additional programs. 4.3 Management of contact information
Purpose of data management: In relation to our partners’ contacts and senior officials, we only process personal data that is necessary for the Partner to be able to exercise its rights and fulfill its obligations arising from the contract between us, as well as to maintain contact with you and your employer, the purpose of which is promoting and monitoring our business relationship. Typically, we manage data about you regarding your name, position and contact details, such as email addresses and telephone numbers, and we will not record or otherwise retain data about you that can be considered “special data”. We only use data about you and for a purpose that can be considered normal in terms of our contractual relationship with you, your employer, such as regular contact with our programs and events and news, including information and invitations to certain events.
Legal basis for data management: The legitimate interest of Terran Ltd.
Legitimate interest of Terran Ltd.: the data management is based on the legitimate interest of Terran Ltd. to facilitate continuous contact between you and Terran Ltd. to promote and take into account the contractual relationship between the Partner (your employer) and Terran Ltd. in order to accompany.

Scope and source of processed personal data: Personal data provided by the Partner, such as name, contact details, position.

7.1 How can you exercise your rights?
You can send your request for the exercise of the above rights to the contact details indicated in point 2. Terran Ltd. provides information on the measures taken following the request without undue delay, but usually within 1 month from the receipt of the request. If Terran Ltd. does not take measures, without delay, but no later than within 1 month from the receipt of the request, it will provide information on the reasons for the failure to take measures.
If you do not agree with Terran Ltd.’s answer or action, the legal remedies indicated in point 8 are available to you.
7.2 Right of Access
You are entitled to receive feedback from Terran Ltd. as to whether your personal data is being processed, and if such data processing is underway, you are entitled to receive access to your personal data and to receive information about the circumstances related to their processing.
7.3 Correction
You have the right to request that Terran Ltd. correct inaccurate personal data without undue delay and to request the completion of incomplete personal data.
7.4 The right to erasure (“the right to be forgotten”)
You have the right to request that Terran Ltd. delete your personal data without undue delay if one of the following reasons exists:
a) the personal data are no longer needed for the purpose for which they were collected or otherwise processed;
b) if the consent that forms the basis of the data management is revoked and there is no other legal basis for the data management;
c) You object to data processing in the case of data processing based on legitimate interests and there is no overriding legitimate reason for data processing, or you object to data processing in the case of data processing for direct business acquisition;
d) if the personal data was handled illegally by Terran Ltd.;
e) if the personal data must be deleted by law.
Terran Ltd. does not delete personal data if the applicable law allows it, for example if the data management is necessary for the presentation, enforcement and protection of legal claims.
7.5 Right to restriction of data processing
In certain cases, we are obliged to limit the use of personal data at your request. In such cases, the data can only be used for limited purposes defined by law.
7.6 Right to protest
You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data based on the legitimate interests of Terran Ltd. at any time for reasons related to your own situation. In this case, Terran Ltd. may no longer process the personal data, unless it proves that the data processing is justified by compelling legitimate reasons that take precedence over your interests, rights and freedoms, or that are necessary for the presentation, enforcement or defense of legal claims are connected.
7.7 Right to data portability
If the rights and freedoms of others are not infringed, you are entitled to receive your personal data in a segmented, widely used, machine-readable format, and to have these data directly transmitted by Terran Ltd. to another data controller, if

9. What do the terms used in the Information mean, and what are the most important principles?
9.1 Main concepts
“data management”: any operation or set of operations performed on personal data or data files in an automated or non-automated manner, such as collection, recording, organization, segmentation, storage, transformation or change, query, insight, use, communication, transmission, distribution or other by way of making it available, coordination or connection, limitation, deletion or destruction;
“data processor”: the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or any other body that processes personal data on behalf of the data controller (in this case, Terran Ltd.);
“data controller”: the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or any other body that determines the purposes and means of processing personal data independently or together with others (in this case, Terran Ltd.);
“data protection incident”: a breach of security that results in the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or unauthorized access to personal data transmitted, stored or otherwise handled (e.g. unauthorized access to the webshop account);
“personal data”: any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (“data subject”);
“data subject”: an identifiable or identified natural person.
